Books made into movies 2017!
There is a huge impact on this phrase ‘books are better than movies’. It’s clear movies are easy to watch and take less hassle than books, but the great things are not easy to achieve and get. Books are just special and have a way large impact than movies, at least in my opinion. Books will help you in improving your creativity; exercise your brain power, going places you’ve never been before etc. Due to this, it is no surprise that some books are turned into movies and vice versa is also true. 2017 has been a year of great books thus leading to great movies. Some of the books that were turned into movies include:
This book is a true story about 3 African-American mathematician women working at NASA. They helped launch the program’s first successful space missions. They fought so hard and used their talents to help win the space race. They proved a point that anyone can be a hero regardless of gender and race. The non-fiction book was written by Margot Lee Shetterly, who started working on it since 2010. In 2017 it was turned into a movie starring the stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Kevin Costner, and Janelle Monáe, who played Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, Christine Darden and Mary Jackson, respectively. The movie was nominated for three Oscars and the book reached number one on The New York Times Non-Fiction Best Sellers list and got the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award for Nonfiction in 2017.
