The Curator, #TBCBookClub Literary Journey
#TBCBookClub is currently on an African literary tour. ‘We Need New Names’ by Zimbabwe’s NoViolet Bulawayo left us in stitches. We traversed Nigeria courtesy of ‘Blackass’ and featured Angola too through ‘A General Theory of Oblivion’.‘Homegoing’ by the Ghanaian literary genius Yaa Gyasi was emotive and even the toughest were shaken as they flipped through its pages. We are pleased to invite you again to the Saturday November, 12 meetup so that we journey together through amazing story from South African writer Jacques Strauss. A gripping read laden with dark humor is the highlight of the meetup. It will last from 10.00am to noon and will take place at Kenya National Theatre (Ukumbi Mdogo Hall). Reserve yourself a seat here. It is not a must for you to have read the book but it is desirable. You can buy it here.
Tag a friend to #TBCBookClub and let us journey through insightful, thrilling and amazing books by African writers.
